Dr Benjamin Bopp

Dr Bopp was born, raised and trained in Queensland, gaining his wealth of experience from the royal women's hospital, Nambour hospital, Logan hospital, Princess Alexandra hospital, QE11 and mater hospital.

He established a private practice in northwest hospital, Brisbane and royal women's hospital in January 1999 with outreach services to Caboolture private hospital and sessions at Holy Spirit on the north side - with visiting specialist rights to Wesley, St Andrews and mater private hospitals.

Dr Bopp trained with Drs Flynn, Swift and Lee and joined QFG cold coast in 2003. He has a special interest in obstetrics, colposcopy and infertility and is a member of the Australian Medical Association, National Association of Specialist Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Fertility Society of Australia and Australian Gynaecology Endoscopy Society.

Currently Dr Bopp is one of 2 elected Queensland Federal Councillors for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) involving him in the setting of standards for the profession at the national level.

Dr Bopp is also involved in the assessment of international specialists wishing to register in Australia and the Queensland state committee of the RANZCOG, currently as Treasurer and recently as Chairman.

Ben lives with partner, Lisa, on the gold coast and enjoys cooking, bodysurfing and hiking.
