Who We Are

Queensland Fertility Group Gold Coast (previously known as Fertility Gold Coast) provides a comprehensive range of fertility treatments as well as gynaecological and obstetric services for our patients. 

Our Gold Coast practice consists of six fertility specialists along with nurses, scientists, receptionists and counsellors as well as physiotherapists, psychologists and a visiting gynaeoncologist.

We offer all our services under the one roof ensuring patients receive continuity of care in one convenient location - right next to Pindara Private Hospital.

Our Story

In 1999 highly respected obstetrician-gynaecologists Dr Tim O'Dowd, Dr Andrew Cary, Dr Michael Flynn - and later joined by Dr Gary Swift, established a women's health centre unlike any other on the Gold Coast. Since then they welcomed Dr Benjamin Bopp and Dr Miriam Lee to their team.

Their aim was to provide women with a range of services that could be accessed round the clock - a service particularly crucial for woman with early complications in pregnancy or with abnormal smears.

In 2001, the practice expanded with the opening of the 'Fertility Gold Coast' IVF clinic in association with Queensland Fertility Group. While Fertility Gold Coast's IVF clinic was renowned for its high quality patient care and personalised friendly service, the clinic's strong partnership with Queensland Fertility Group proved to be of great benefit for its patients. So much that in August 2011, Fertility Gold Coast decided to seize the opportunity to join Queensland Fertility Group which now allows the clinic to provide our patients with greater access to the most advanced technology and a large network of fertility expertise.

While we are now known as Queensland Fertility Group Gold Coast, our personalised approach to treatment is maintained as we stand by our philosophy to be "with you the whole way".  Becoming part of Queensland Fertility Group simply ensures that we can continue to provide our patients with the very best fertility care available.
