Dr Andrew Cary

Dr Cary has been in private practice on the Gold Coast since 1993, having followed his father into the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialty.

He trained in south-east Queensland at the Mater Mothers' Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, Ipswich Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital, before spending a year as a lecturer and senior registrar in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Liverpool, UK.

He is particularly involved in Obstetric Care, Infertility all aspects of IVF Treatment, Hysteroscopic Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Surgery, performing many operations as 'day cases' at Pindara Day Procedure Centre.

Dr Cary is a past treasurer of the Qld CTTEE of RAN2006 from 1995 till 2001. He is the past Deputy Chair of the Pindara Hospital Medical Advisory Board. IVF is performed by Dr Cary as a Director of Fertility Gold Coast with Queensland's most successful IVF unit.

Dr Cary and wife Fiona live locally and have three school age children. They are active in School Community activities and their main interests and hobbies involve sport such as golf, snow skiing and travel.
